Old Patterns Woven New
Anna
Anna was a successful corporate leader, a mother of two, and someone others depended on. Respected, capable, and deeply committed to her own growth — she had already tried therapies, trauma-focused work, and medications. She had done the work. And still, the anxiety persisted, the physical symptoms lingered, and beneath her high-functioning surface, something older and deeper remained unresolved.
She was also quietly questioning whether her marriage could survive, relying on coping strategies she knew weren’t serving her, and pushing through daily life with a superwoman-like determination that was costing her more than she let on.
Our work together focused on reaching the layers beneath what other approaches had partially addressed. The protective patterns, family rhythms, and ancestral threads that were still running quietly in the background. Importantly, we did this without reliving the past.
Over time, the changes began to show up naturally. Her anxiety resolved, along with many unexplained physical symptoms. With medical guidance she was in the position to discontinue thyroid and anxiety medications. Coping strategies she had relied on for years were no longer needed, and her body began to rebalance in ways that included significant weight loss without dieting or exercise programs.
But the most meaningful changes appeared in everyday life. She began moving through tasks with presence rather than urgency, finding that what once felt depleting now simply got done — leaving her with more energy, not less. She could stay fully present in conversations and relationships that once triggered stress or disconnection.
Her communication with her husband transformed so significantly that a marriage once close to ending became stronger than it had ever been. At work, difficult dynamics became easier to navigate and new opportunities opened. She hadn’t been seeking help in this area of life, but her career benefited and expanded as a bonus.

“I can now listen to and trust my body and intuition, even subtle signs that I once taught myself to ignore.”
“Working with Kari has been eye-opening and effective. I feel a fresh confidence in who I am and what I want. I’ve transitioned from surviving to thriving.”

When Surviving Stops Working
Rayanne
Rayanne was 44, running a farm, raising three boys, managing a marriage under strain, and pushing through every day on empty. From the outside she looked capable. Internally she was exhausted, hormonally dysregulated, and carrying decades of unprocessed trauma and forced survival — a childhood shaped by loss, uncertainty, and being entirely on her own from the age of seventeen.
Ray came to ESW not primarily for her hormones, though those were severe; prolonged bleeding, mood swings, hot flashes, weight gain despite exercise. She came because she wanted to stop a generational pattern. She wanted to be the calm in her children’s storm. And she came not quite believing that healing was possible for her at all.
The work began with what her body most needed — biochemical support for years of stress-driven depletion. From there it moved into the deeper layers of ancestral patterns, the survival blueprint her nervous system had been running since childhood, the energetic blocks showing up as anger, shame, and an inability to receive care for herself.
During her process, something opened. She began to believe—for the first time since she could remember; that a better life wasn’t something that would be taken from her. It was simply something she was allowed to want. That shift changed everything.
By the end: hot flashes were gone. Cycle normalized. Anger softened to something she could catch, center, and redirect. Her husband’s pressure eased without a single conversation about the work she was doing. Her children became more settled. Her son’s school reported significant behavioral improvement. And for the first time, she could imagine — and feel — a future that was genuinely good.
“Having my hormones in check helps immensely so I can focus on balancing the rest of my crazy life, from a calmer place.”
— Ray, BC Canada

Finding Ground Beneath It All
Ami
Ami arrived as a fellow coach. Self-aware, professionally skilled, and feeling stuck in the leap from day job to full-time practice. What she came for was career support. What she found was a depth of work she hadn’t anticipated, and a journey that would carry her through some of the most significant chapters of her life.
She came with a new pregnancy, a fast-moving relationship turning into marriage, a miscarriage not fully processed, and a spiritual side of herself she had never consciously met. She had chronic neck and body tension attributed to a childhood car accident — tension that had remained for years because its true origin was energetic and emotional, not physical. Within the work, it released. Her mobility improved from a 2 out of 10 to 7.5.
Across four programs, our work moved through layers: the identity shift into motherhood. The fear of rejection with her parents. The “little bits of resistance” holding her career back. The spiritual practices that became daily anchors. A new baseline of self-worth she described as “absolute safety in the freedom to be me.” And the navigation of a marriage that became increasingly abusive — doing everything possible to hold it with grace, until the time came to leave.
When she finally did leave, she reached out to say: “You were there with me in spirit helping to make it possible for me to finally leave.” She hadn’t been in sessions. But what had been built, remained.
Her daughter’s chronic cough, unresolved after a year and a half of trying everything, cleared after a few sessions. Her daughter also began sleeping better and stopped grinding her teeth.
Ami is now coaching with spirituality being a strong part of her practice. Continuing her path, and standing on ground she found through years of going deeper.
“I feel like a tree with big roots growing. There’s an unwavering strength in the core of who I am. Untouchable.”
— Ami
